A chance of sunshine_Prologue

Seoul

- Tell me, Yunho… What would you do? Something for the sake of the majority or something which is true to your heart?

She asked, almost too nervous to finish her question, trembled, almost fainting at the sight of his perfect lips curling up for the much too fast, much too ignorant and much too nonchalant answer. “Yunho, please…” In the deafening silence, she prayed she could utter aloud her pitiful plead, but something stuck in her throat. A girl like her would never beg for anything. Did he know sometime ignorance wouldn’t bring bliss but much angst, so much it would be more than enough to torture him for a lifetime. She bit her lips hard. For what? She knew him too well it hurt, too well she, for a moment, wished she had known nothing at at all...

- For the benefit of the majority, of course – He left out a soft, bitter laugh – I don’t belong to myself. Sometime I feel so helpless at the awareness I cannot follow my own heart…
He trailed off, hugging her closer to his embrace not realizing her warm knowing at that very moment they both drifted away from one another…

Too far, nothing can pull them back to where their hearts belong
